Kue Lontar / Egg Tart

 




We called it Hongkong Egg Tart or just Egg tart, in Indonesia Bali has it own pie susu means Milk Tart and in Papua has Kue Lontar just like jumbo egg tart. Long story short to me they all taste like Egg Tart 😄 but I'm making Kue Lontar the Papua version.

In msia sg brunei hongkong version egg tart with evaporated milk + water.  This one used condensed milk + water. I can tell u this is egg tart, not much of a difference. 

I used blindbake method crust. It was good but took me 1hr50mins to set the egg filling.  So my next try will use no blindbake method to see if the filling and tart crust bake together would be perfect.
