Naked Chocolate Cake with Floral Buttercream




Chocolate Cake
2 x7" round pan

A
6 whole eggs
150g sugar
1tsp vanilla
B
166g flour
40g coco powder
1tbsp baking powder 
D
1tbsp coffee powder
1tbsp hot water
113g melted butter or oil

 
* Grease and line 2 x 7" pan. No need grease side.
* Beat A until ribbonstage, 
* Fold in B with a spatula until just combined. 
* Fold in C mix well. Do not over mix.
* Bake 170°c for 45 minutes. 
* The cake is done when a skewer or toothpick inserted comes out clean. 
* Cool on a wire rack. 
* Fill cake layers with buttercream thinly to make the naked look, chilled.
