Classic Beef Lasagne #2





This is my best seller! Full of Beef and white sauce, super delicious. 3 layer Beef Lasagne fits for 4 to 5 people.

Classic Beef Lasagne 
22x22cm aluminum foil pan

Ingredients: 

6 Instant Lasagne Sheets ( each foil pan )

Bachamel White Sauce:
500g cold milk
50g butter
50g flour
Salt & Pepper
Pinch of nutmeg powder
( optional add cheese - mozzarella, parmesan or ricotta ) 

* In a large pan, add in butter to melt follow by flour mix well and add cold milk one at a time with a whisk slow fire mix well. 
* Add in salt and pepper. And pinch of nutmeg to taste. Off fire or it well become for thicker.
* For cheese white sauce, you may add cheese.
* Set aside for layering lasagne.  

For Meat Red Sauce:-
( below recipe for 1 pan of lasagne )

1920g-2000g Beef Minched Meat 
2 chopped large Onion
4 chopped garlic cloves
8 large chopped tomato
2 canned large tomato puree 
2-3 Bay Leaf
Fresh Thyme 
Fresh Basil
10-15tbsp Knorr Demi Glace Powder ( mix with hot water into paste )
Salt & Pepper
1 cup water

Other Ingredients For layering lasagne:-
Mozzarella Cheese 
Parmesan Cheese 
Chopped Parsley for topping 

* In a large pan, add some cooking oil, sautee Onion, garlic, bay leaf until aromatic. 
* Add in minched meat, Thyme and basil mix well.
* Add salt, pepper.
* Add chopped tomato and tomato puree mix well. 
* Lastly add in Demi Glace mix to combine, add water one at a time, let it cook for few minutes until it's thicken but not too watery, taste and off fire, set aside. 

Assemble the Lasagne:- 

* 22x22 cm pan ready.
* 1 scoop of soup ladle of red meat sauce into pan. Spread evenly on the pan. Then layer 1st 2 instant Lasagne Sheets on the Sauce, follow by 1- 1 1/2 scoop of red meat sauce and top with Bachamel White Sauce. Sprinkle grated parmesan sauce and mozzarella cheese and repeat the same another 2 layers to finish. 
* Make sure the last layer on top is fully cover with red sauce follow by white sauce. You dont want to expose the Lasagne without sauce or else it will be hard. So make sure all cover evenly. Then follow with topping, grated mozzarella cheese and parmesan cheese sprinkle on too and lastly, sprinkle some chopped parsley. 
* When all its ready, cover lasagne with aluminum foil. 
* Pre-heated 180°c bake for 40 minutes.
* After 40 minutes removed foil. Increase oven temperature to 200°c bake another 10 minutes grill mode to brown the top. 
* Remove Lasagne from oven and ready to served. it is best to eat warm.
