Flaky Fried Chicken Curry Puff

 








This is the real curry Pufffff 🤭🤭🤭 it really so puffy and flaky. I can't handle! Seriously delicious. 

This is fried curry puff flaky skin. If bake would be nice too, will also have layering flaky skin and less oil. I always bake them so I try the fry method this time. Both delicious.

Below is the flaky skin recipe, is just a regular flaky skin recipe. I'm sure many of u already have your own flaky skin recipe, it's all the same. 

Flaky Fried Chicken Curry Puff:-
20pcs

Water dough
200g flour
60g shortening
30g sugar
100g water

Oil dough
150g flour 
100g shortening 

* I am not making spiral type of curry puff so the method of rolling and folding is slightly different. But the dough is the same. 

If you use hand will be sticky, so use a fork to mix water dough until all comes together and use hand to shape it into a ball set aside. Same with oil dough. 

Water dough is bigger than oil dough. 

Roll both into long shape, cut both dough into equally 20 pcs. 

Take 1 pc water dough, pull and flatten with hand and take 1 pc oil dough, put in the middle of water dough and wrap it, round into a ball. Set aside, repeat until finish. Cover and Rest for 20 mins. 

Dust surface , take 1 dough, use a rolling pin to roll out into rectangle shape. Roll it up into Swiss roll. Rotate position, use a rolling pin to roll out again into rectangle and roll up into Swiss roll for the last time. Cover with a cloth and set aside let it rest. 

Dust surface, take the 1st roll and flatten it, use a rolling pin to roll out circle.  Fill 1 portion of filling and egg in the middle. 

Fold the dough into half and seal the edge by pinching and folding. 

Heat oil in medium heat, fry until golden brown. Dish up. 

For the fillings:-
300g chicken breast cut into small cubes
500g potato small cubes 
Some curry leaf
1 medium onion
2 clove Garlic
4tbsp curry powder
Taste- Salt, sugar and chicken granulated powder 
Water

Sautéed onion and garlic. Add in curry powder follow with curry leaf mix well.  Add chicken cubes mix, taste and add potatoes.  Add some water to stew a little while until potatoes soften and the sauce thicken.  make sure the filling not too much water. Dish up and let it cool.to room temperature. 

4 Boiled eggs, cut into 20 slices.
