Durian Roll Cake with Tiger Skin #2

 






My very 1st time make tiger skin roll. It was quite time consuming.  Not easy but it's not hard too. I make Durian filling roll cake, next time will go for chocolate.  

Sponge Cake 

A

6 yolks

3 white

40g sugar

1/2 tbsp water

1/2 tbsp sp optional

B

50g flour 

10g milk powder 

1/8tsp baking Powder 

C

60g melted butter

D

Mash Durian meat


*Preheat oven 190c

*Beat A until peak, white n fluffy aound 10 minits. 

* Add B mix well with lowest speed until combine.

* Add C mix well with spatula.

* pour batter into 24x24 line square pan. 

* Bake 20-25 minutes depands on ur oven.  

* remove from oven, cool at wire rack. 

* when the cake is cool. Fill the cake with durian filling and roll up.  Make the tiger skin.


Tiger Skin Roll

A

7 yolks

7g maizena/cornflour

40g powder sugar

50g oil

*Preheat oven 230°c

* Beat A all in ingredients, beat until ribbon stage. Pour into baking pan 28x24 line pan. 

* Bake 220°c -230°c for 20 minutes depands on ur oven.  

* remove from oven, cool at wire rack. 

* spread condensed milk to stick on the roll cake.

* Put the roll cake on the tiger skin, roll the cake up and cut away the extra tiger skin and chill,  cut and served.
