Nastar Ros & Daun ( Mix Butter & Margarine)






Trying out Titin Rayner recipe. Me always test and taste πŸ˜€πŸ˜†. 

Dough was hard 😫 so I added 100g of margarine a total of 200g, then I get the softer dough. The original recipe was 100g margarine. 

I think if I'm gonna use this recipe again, I will revise the ingredients, use condense milk instead of sugar powder and reduce egg yolks or vise versa until you get the consistency that can shape the dough without getting too hard or sticky.

Overall it taste and texture was ok and yummy.

Nastar Ros and Daun 

A
150g Golden Churn butter
100g Blueband margarine ( i added 100g )
100g powder sugar
3 yolks
B
450g flour
40g milk powder
C
2 egg yolks
1tsp oil
1tsp milk


* Beat A until double volumn.
* Add in B mix until combine.
* weight dough 9g each.  
* Fill and shape into rose and leaf. 
* Bake at 180°c 20 minutes then C egg wash. 
* Bake another 40 minutes until golden brown.
