Splitza ( Pineapple Pizza & Tuna Pizza )
I made this simple pizza for late lunch, half tuna and half pineapple sausage whatever i have and made marinara sauce as red sauce base.
The best pan for baking pizza is use a correct pizza pan with holes. If u have that kind of pizza pan, ur pizza will bake with a nice crust at the bottom, not soggy. Heavy duty black deep dish like pizza hut pan is the best for making pizza. Is good to preheat pan before place the dough in the pan so as you will get a nice bottom crust.
Pizza dough recipe:-
225g bread flour
2.5g yeast
1/2tsp salt
150g warm water
1tbsp oil
Toppings seperated into 2 :
1 canned Tuna Chuck in oil (ayam brand)
1 canned Pineapple ( delmote )
3 pepperoni/sausage/chicken
1pkt shredded Mozzarella
Pitted Black Olive ( slices )
Olive oil / salt
Hand knead, Mix everything to rough dough rest 20mins, knead to smooth dough rest 1hr. If use mixer, ( no need rest 20mins but can if u want too) knead until smooth n rest for 1hr.
As i use normal aluminium 9" pan, so i do not preheat my pan, flour pan/cornmeal spread dough on pan to the edge, push dough with fingers to the edge or at this point you can stretch dough like flying soccer in the air 🤣 if ur expert like roti guy!
Then place on the pan and stretch it to the edge ( if use oil, dough is more harder to spread but it should not have a prblm) poke dough, spread red sauce, cheese n toppings more cheese, bake at 200c for 20-25mins.
Marinara Sauce:-
2 big fresh tomatoes
2-3 tbsp Tomato sauce
1/4 diced onion
1 pc garlic finely chopped
Diced tomatoes left 1/4 portion, rest into food processor. Sauteed onion n garlic until fragrance.
Add in in blended tomato 1/4 portion diced tomatoes mix well, add tomato sauce, seasoning with salt, sugar to taste and 1tbsp oregano you can add rosemary is optional.
Taste and dish up, and ur marinara sauce is ready to use.
