Red Velvet Moist Cake with Creamcheese Frosting







3 days ago,  went to a beautiful cafe far from town.  Had a sliced of Red Velvet cake, it was yummy.  Give me idea to bake a whole Red Velvet Cake for myself 😁 ( i havent bake red velvet for quite sometimes) 

Anyway, the final result was just what i wanted, texture was moist dan delicious, so cafe type of cake texture!  so satisfying!!

Red Velvet Cake with Creamcheese Frosting 
2 x 7" round pan

A
90g butter
150g sugar
B
2 eggs
C
Buttermilk (160g milk +1tbsp vinegar) 
165g oil
1tsp vanilla
D
240g flour
2tbsp cocopowder
3/4tsp B. Soda
1tsp B. Powder
1/2 tsp salt
E
3tbsp red velvet paste 
6 drops bright red + dark red color 


* Pre-heat oven 170c. Line base n side. 
* Beat A until double v. Add in B one at a time.  
* Add C slowly mix well and add D do not over mix.  Add E with spatular.  
* Pour batter into 2 x 7" round pans.  Bake 170c 50 minutes or until cake is done. 
* removes cakes from oven,let it cool, cut the top part of the cake for crumbs deco.  
* place the cutted out crumbs on a baking pan, preheated oven 180c bake for 15minutes or so.
* Dont forget to place both cakes cover with cling wrap into the fridge.
* removed crumbs from oven let it cool down a little and use a food processor to blend become fine crumbs, set aside for decorating cake. 
* I am sorry about the frosting measurement as my creamcheese n cream both almost finish so  i didnt do any proper measurement for both, taste as i mix.  The ingredients are creamcheese + lemon juice + icing sugar + topping cream/whipping cream.
